Life Booster Tea's Goal
Life Booster Tea, knew they were giving back to their customers by making a positive impact in their lives, but they also knew they wanted to do even more. So they decided that a perfect opportunity to make an even bigger impact was to help with the reforestation of areas around the world that needed it most. This gave way to their starting goal of planting 1 million trees throughout the world. To do this, they have committed to plant one tree for every single product sold and every single email sign-up.
This isn't just about the positive environmental impact of planting trees, it's also about giving jobs to the people in these countries that have never had the opportunity to get lifted out of poverty. The wages provided to these people from reforestation projects allows them to put food on their tables and to support their families - Life Booster Tea could not be happier to be a part of this cause.
Eden Reforestation Projects
Eden’s planting nations include: Madagascar, Haiti, Nepal, Indonesia, Mozambique, and Kenya. They start by hiring people from local impoverished communities to plant trees, and the employment with Eden gives them a decent income so they can support and provide for their families. As the reforestation effort goes on, healthy forests begin to emerge and all the negative effects of deforestation begin to disappear. The trees provide a habitat for animals, purify water sources, restore ocean health, control flooding and erosion, and help to replenish the soil with nutrients needed for farming.
By 2025, Eden's vision is to plant a minimum of 500 million trees each year and to offer hope through the employment of tens of thousands of people in countries where extreme poverty is rampant.
