The Good Card

The Good Card

A card they’ll keep — or plant.

Some keepsakes stay with us forever. For Ashley, the founder of The Good Card, it started with a love of cards. As a child, she saved every handwritten note and message, tucking them into a special cardboard drawer that quickly overflowed with memories. Alongside this love of words was an equal adoration for flowers, which she famously called “fafa’s” as a toddler, stopping to sniff and admire every bloom.

The Good Card grew from these two lifelong loves: cards and flowers. Each card is printed on Canadian-made seed paper, crafted from post-consumer materials and embedded with a premium mix of wildflower seeds. Once your recipient has read and treasured the message, the card can be planted to grow beautiful blooms — a living reminder of love, thoughtfulness, and care.

The cards are printed in Guelph, Ontario, and the seed paper is accredited by the Canadian Phytosanitary Certification Program for Seeds (CPCPS). That means each seed has been tested in CFIA- or AOSA-accredited labs for purity and safety. All seeds are non-GMO, non-invasive in North America, and approved for planting in Canada and many other countries.

Whether you're gifting for Mother’s Day, a birthday, or just because, The Good Card adds meaning and magic to any moment. Plant it indoors year-round, or outdoors in spring through fall, and enjoy a burst of wildflowers, including:

  • Bird’s Eye

  • Clarkia

  • Black Eyed Susan

  • Catchfly

  • Snapdragon

  • Sweet Alyssum

Perfect for pairing with a bouquet, tucking into a gift basket, or sending on its own to brighten someone’s day — and their garden.
