There's nothing better than sitting on your front porch or in your backyard oasis, sipping an ice cold beverage in the hot summer heat!
While weeding my garden over the weekend, I noticed my herb planter is thriving! I cut fresh herbs daily, yet they seem to grow back overnight (what a great problem to have, lol)! I love using fresh sprigs for cooking, but they also make the perfect garnish for cocktails and mocktails.
When I was running some errands, I spotted a cocktail ice cube tray— bigger ice cubes for a fancier touch. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Herb-infused ice cubes! I couldn't resist picking one up.
I started by picking some herbs from my garden: mint, basil, and rosemary. I also sliced and curled lemon for garnish. If you want to get really fancy and add some colour you can add a few pieces of fresh fruit — blueberry & raspberries would be the perfect touch!
Fill your ice cube tray with water, get creative with your flavour combinations, and pop it in the freezer. In a few hours, you'll have refreshing, flavourful ice cubes ready to enjoy.
These herb-infused ice cubes are also perfect for outdoor summer entertaining. Place them in a chilled bowl and let guests transform their drinks with flavourful combinations. Plus, it's super easy and takes no time at all!
What's your favourite way to dress up your water or summer drinks?

My favourite ice cubes are made in the spring with wild violets from my garden. So pretty, especially in Rose!
I use sliced lemon and sliced lime in my water also some mint and I add a splash of Lychee Vinegar from the Olive Branch. The Lychee vinegar helps get rid of toxins in your liver. Herbs are always good for you!
