Located in North Dumfries, between Kitchener and Cambridge, Ontario their story dates back to 1892 with the establishing of Cedardale Farms. Four generations later, Tim, his wife Libby, and 4 children continue to farm and operate Barrie’s Asparagus Farm & Country Market- growing asparagus, rhubarb, sweet corn, and pumpkins! Not only that, but they also offer a full line up of innovative products containing their asparagus!
Farming is a labour of love, it is a passion that this family continues to pass on from generation to generation – with asparagus as their specialty!
Whether you are indulging in the superfood on its own or choose to try out one of their innovative offerings (check out what we mean below!), many of their products are gluten-free, all-natural, and made with only local Canadian ingredients! We know what’s on the menu for our week ahead!
