Every holiday season we're reminded of our love for fresh winter greens intertwined with Carolina Sapphire, Magnolia, and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Adorning mantels, arranged in planters and assembled as wreaths there is something to be said for choosing fresh over artificial.
Transitioning our homes to tell the seasonal story of winter through scents, textures, and sounds will forever be one of our favourite parts of December.
This week we're highlighting Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. Known for its airy feel and large rounded leaves, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus is the perfect textural element to add to any centrepiece, garland, planter, or wreath!
Here are some ways to incorporate Silver Dollar Eucalyptus into your Christmas decor this year:
Tabletop Centrepiece
Try a little flower arranging of your own! Incorporate Silver Dollar Eucalyptus with fresh seasonal blooms or artificial everyday picks.
Care when placing in a vase:
- Place Your Eucalyptus in Water
- Remove any leaves from the stems that will fall below the water line to prevent sliminess and keep your eucalyptus fresh for as long as possible.
Table Setting: Take a few bundles of fresh Eucalyptus, perhaps a mixture of Seeded and Silver dollar and arrange it with an assortment of seasonal elements such as berries, pinecones, or bells across the length of your dining table. Add some candlesticks and voila!

Silver Dollar Swag: A simple way to add a lovely impact. Take a Silver Dollar Eucalyptus bundle and add a bow (ribbon/mesh/twine) or perhaps a bell and hang it as swag on a mirror, door, or below your outside lights.
Garland: Purchase a pre-made winter greens garland and add some sprigs of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and Magnolia to really make a statement. Incorporate bows at the banisters for a pop of colour!
Fresh Winter Wreath: Try your hand at creating a fresh winter wreath of your own, or purchase a fresh greens wreath and make it your own with Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Magnolia, Holly Berries and other specialty sprigs!
We can't wait to see what you create this holiday season! Be sure to tag us in your creations so we can share! Let's continue to inspire one another to live a beautiful life both inside and outside of our homes.
