Our community really blows me away. I have tried to take time these past few weeks to suppress the stress that comes along with holiday preparations and really enjoy the spirit around me. I'm amazed by all of the talented and hardworking entrepreneurs that bring us one-of-a-kind gifts at local-maker events, neighbours that string up garland and cheerful lights to adorn their homes, and community members that do the same in parks across the county. I have a huge appreciation for the commitment of retail and restaurant staff that hustle through the season to help us find the perfect gift, help prepare our homes for the holidays, or contribute to the perfect meal for us to enjoy with our family and friends.
Thank you so much to all of you for allowing us to contribute to your holiday in some way. We loved helping you design and create the perfect holiday entrances, table scapes, mantle displays and Christmas trees. Thank you for allowing us to help you find the perfect gift that made your loved one smile. We are grateful that you have prepared holiday meals using the local fruit and vegetable bounty and delicious sweets we are blessed to be able to enjoy.
We are grateful to Iron Kettle for blessing us with their presence for the entire month of November. We hope you stopped in to enjoy their delicious sweet treats (and took a moment to have a chat with their equally sweet dream team) – they truly are the best!
