There’s a shift in the air — subtle, but unmistakable. The light feels softer. The evenings stretch just a little longer. And here at Anna’s, the first signs of fall are beginning to arrive.

Starting next week, our spaces will welcome the early palette of the season — warm-toned grasses that sway in the breeze, black-eyed Susans standing tall in golden bloom, and the rich, velvet textures of celosia beginning to take their place. Our fall planters are taking shape, layered with colour and contrast, designed to carry beauty into the cooler days ahead.

It’s a time of transition — that sweet in-between when late summer meets early fall. When the garden slows, but still gives generously. When pollinators linger, drawn to blooms that continue to offer something in return. The fields are full of life and colour, and the greenhouse benches are starting to tell a new story — one of texture, warmth, and quiet richness.

So if you’re someone who finds comfort in the rhythm of the seasons — in harvest tones, cool mornings, and the kind of beauty that feels both effortless and lasting — we’d love for you to visit. Take a walk through the benches. See what’s beginning. And maybe bring a little bit of fall home with you.

The shift has begun. And it’s a beautiful one.

The written word captivates. I can close my eyes and see the rich colours , and smell autumn in the air. I look forward to our visit to Anne’s this time of year.
