The spider plant is among the most popular (and easiest to grow) of all hanging or trailing houseplants.
CARE:
Light: Partial sun / shade
Water: You should water them liberally through the summer and mist them occasionally. During winter, cut watering back. Make sure there is proper drainage, and well-aerated potting mix
Fertilizer: Weekly during the Summer with liquid fertilizer (20-20-20) or use pellets at the beginning of the growing season
Maintenance: They do not need yearly repotting as most of their growing energy is directed toward producing plantlets. If the root ball protrudes above the rim of the pot, then you can repot during the Spring
Growth: 12" High / 3' Down
