Light: 6-8 hours of direct sunlight

Soil: Dill prefers well-drained soil, potentially amended with organic matter to improve drainage. 

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering. Water the soil when is dry to a depth of 1-2 inches. 

Fertilizing: Dill does not require heavy fertilization, especially when grown in a well-prepared bed. 
You can apply a balanced 10-10-10 fertilizer once or twice during the growing season if desired. 
If growing dill indoors, you can use a balanced fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks.
