The Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women
Mission: To provide women-centred support to newcomer women and their families to become full participating members of Canadian society where they are empowered to determine the direction of their lives and advocate for themselves, their families and their community with dignity and pride.
For many newcomer women and their families, this upcoming holiday season might be the first holiday to be celebrated in a long time. As we remember the challenges of 2024, let's draw inspiration from the resilience of women, newcomers and refugees who faced unprecedented difficulties but still strive towards integration and self-sufficiency.
W5 offers a variety of programs and services including many underfunded and unfunded grassroots programs meant to bridge and seal the service gaps. We are committed to empowering immigrant women and their families, and assisting them in successfully integrating into Canadian society. Donating to W5 supports programs and services that offer vital resources, education, and assistance to immigrant women and newcomer families.
