The Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women

Mission: To provide women-centred support to newcomer women and their families to become fully participating members of Canadian society where they are empowered to determine the direction of their lives and advocate for themselves, their families and their community with dignity and pride.

As spring arrives, it brings a sense of renewal and hope to many newcomer women and their families. This season serves as a reminder of the incredible resilience of women, newcomers, and refugees, especially as we reflect on the challenges faced in 2024.

W5 offers a variety of programs and services including many underfunded and unfunded grassroots programs meant to bridge and seal the service gaps. We are committed to empowering immigrant women and their families, and assisting them in successfully integrating into Canadian society. Donating to W5 supports programs and services that offer vital resources, education, and assistance to immigrant women and newcomer families.
