Succulents have firmly rooted themselves in the hearts (and homes) of plant lovers everywhere—and not just because they’re cute. These compact, sculptural plants are more than just a trend; they’re a long-lasting favourite for anyone who loves greenery but doesn’t want a high-maintenance relationship.

With their geometric shapes, vibrant hues, and plump, satisfying leaves, succulents add instant personality to a space. Whether you’re filling your windowsill with an eclectic collection or styling a minimalist coffee table, there’s a succulent for every aesthetic.

But let’s bust a myth: succulents aren't foolproof. While they're known for being resilient, there are a few key care tips you’ll need to follow to keep them looking their best.

Succulent Care & Maintenance
Light: Succulents love sunshine—aim for at least 6 hours of bright, direct light daily. If they start stretching or leaning, they need more sun. South- or west-facing windows work best.
Water: Let the soil completely dry out between waterings, then soak thoroughly. No misting—succulents prefer their roots wet, not their leaves. Water less in winter when growth slows.
Soil: Use well-draining soil, like a cactus mix or a blend of potting soil with sand or perlite. Always plant in containers with drainage holes.
Fertilizer: Feed lightly in spring and summer with a diluted 20-20-20 fertilizer. No need to fertilize in fall or winter.
Quick Tips: Rotate regularly for even growth, Avoid overhead watering, Bring indoors if it drops below 10°C / 50°F, Remove dried lower leaves to keep air flowing
Succulents are ideal for modern life: they’re sculptural, space-saving, and surprisingly expressive once you tune into their needs. With just a little care and attention to light, water, and soil, your succulents can thrive for years—and bring a bit of nature’s artistry into your home.
