Grown Lady Grows | Meditation in the Gardens: Reconnect With Your Body (Sun., Oct. 22 @ 11:00 AM)

Workshop Description: Autumn is one of the most beautiful times of the year, with the yellows, oranges, and reds in full bloom. These colours respond to our lower chakras (energy centres), making Autumn the perfect time to reconnect with the Earth and our physical bodies.

Our bodies hold onto past emotions and traumas and in this class we’ll talk more about how they can present themselves in the body and mind, clear any stagnant energy in our chakras, and realign with our truest selves. This hour together will include some light movement, meditation, guided journalling, and a group reiki session.

No experience is necessary and all are welcome! Come with an open mind and open heart, and a willingness to either share or hold space for others to share. Bring a pillow or blanket (something to sit on comfortably), journal, pen or pencil, and any other comfort items you may need.

About Grown Lady Grows: Alley is a writer, market gardener, and reiki practitioner living in Kingsville. She began her reiki journey in January, which opened the doors to energy work and inner healing. She is currently on her own journey on healing from nervous system burnout and shares some of these slow living tips on her Instagram page. She is passionate about somatic healing and nervous system work, and implements these into her holistic energetic healing sessions for others.
